About the Program

Partnership Plus is a handoff program designed for customers of State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies to transition to long-term employment support services through the Ticket to Work program. After successful case closure, the customer can smoothly resume follow along services with the Employment Network.

 

Services We Provide in Ticket to Work

While all Employment Networks will provide their own specialized services, we focus on providing long-term support in two primary ways: Benefit Services and Employment Services. By assisting clients with finding stability and enjoyment at work, and doing the heavy lifting when it comes to navigating Social Security, we free beneficiaries to focus on work and let go of the stress of their benefits.

Benefit Services

  • Assisting in the preventing of overpayments

  • Helping beneficiaries understand their benefits

  • Teaching how to report wages

  • Tracking benefits and looking ahead for critical benchmarks

  • Informing and assisting beneficiaries when an action is needed with SSA

  • Filling out forms, calling their local SSA office with them, and escalating important cases to individuals higher up at SSA

Employment Services

  • Regularly checking in to ensure work is fulfilling and meeting their needs

  • Assisting beneficiaries in identifying and requesting accommodations at work

  • Keeping clients exempt from Continuing Disability Reviews

  • Coaching on how to advance in their career

  • Helping to find additional employment as needed

Additional Services

  • Referring clients to needed services such as state, transportation, mental health, or spiritual assistance

  • Updating resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios

  • Teaching interview skills

  • Providing presence and attention to client’s emotional, social, spiritual, and personal lives
